I am a Junior Fellow at the Society of Fellows at Harvard University. This spring, I am working on a book manuscript based on my December 2009 Ph.D. dissertation "Nagivating the Boundaries of Poltiical Tolerance: Environmental Litigation in China."

Beyond Chinese environmental lawsuits, my broader research interests include globalization, non-state actors, law and society and the dynamics of dissent in authoritarian states.
